Materials & Product Care
What is sterling silver?
Sterling silver is composed of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, added for strength and durability. Our sterling silver pieces are stamped 925 to indicate their composition and authenticity.
What is gold vermeil?
Gold vermeil is sterling silver finished with a substantial layer of gold. Our gold vermeil pieces are crafted from 925 sterling silver and finished with a minimum 2.5 micron layer of 18k gold.
Will my jewelry tarnish?
Sterling silver naturally develops a patina over time when exposed to air, moisture, and certain chemicals. This can be gently polished away with proper care.
Gold vermeil may also show natural signs of wear over time, particularly on areas exposed to frequent friction. Following our Jewelry Care recommendations will help preserve its finish.
Is your jewelry nickel-free?
Yes. Our jewelry is nickel-free and hypoallergenic.
